Muvi– a prominent PaaS based video streaming platform provider, based out of Bhubaneswar, Odisha is organizing a Hackathon on 11th February 2017 with an aim to identify, nurture and provide an opportunity to the local talent in & around the city.
“With this 12-hour non-stop Marathon – Hackathon we expect the developer community – whether working or non-working, full time or part time, freelancers or freshers, anyone and everyone who’ve got a flair to do something different to turn up and hack their way to success fame and money,” says Pragyan Priyadarshini, Muvi’s CTO.
The Hackathon is to be held at Muvi’s Bhubaneswar office, starting 8 AM to 8 PM where apps (web or mobile) are to be developed from scratch and to be finished within 12 hours. Apps can be anything around the idea of audio/video streaming. Judgment will be based on the uniqueness of the product, its idea, and design. All the participants will get a certificate, and some opportunities will walk out with job offer. A winner will get a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 along with a press coverage in all of Muvi’s announcements.
Muvi is probably the first of its kind product company (SaaS / PaaS based) based out of Bhubaneswar, Orissa. Anshuman Das is the CEO of the Muvi LLC. He now resides in abroad and operating the company functioning from its head office located in New York.
